PHR, in collaboration with Surgery SIG, AMSA, and Sophie Davis Biograph, is holding an Opioid Student Summit on Friday, November 22nd at 6:30pm! Dr. Travis Rieder, a bioethicist at Johns Hopkins, will give his very popular TedTalk about his own struggle with opioid addiction. Maya Nussenzweig, from Mount Sinai, will be training everyone on how to use Narcan, an Opioid overdose-reversing medication. The event will end with DINNER and a Q&A session with our speakers and a guest orthopedic trauma surgeon, Dr. Naveen Singanamala. The entire event - food, TedTalk, training, and Narcan kits - is FREE!
